About This Call
The St. Armands Circle Art Festival is regularly recognized as one of the premier art events in the U.S. by Sunshine Artist Magazine, combining beloved classics with the most talked-about figures in the contemporary art world. The festival is held along South Boulevard of Presidents and within St. Armands Circle, attracting significant crowds and has established itself as a yearly favorite in Sarasota County. This well-attended event occurs annually with free public admission.
The show features 10x10 spaces with show hours Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm. Setup occurs on Friday in the park/circle, and on Saturday morning on the street, though Friday setup spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed. The event includes overnight security and parking is available near the show site. Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin.
The application fee is $635.00 with a $35.00 non-refundable jury fee. Applications require 4 images of work, 1 image of 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, and a biography or website. The show is currently closed and all applications will be juried for wait list only. Artists are chosen by a jury of highly qualified, experienced artists that meets weekly, with 2-4 weeks processing time once applications are received.
