About This Call

St. Armands Circle Art & Craft Festival is a juried craft fair held on an island just a short drive from Sarasota, featuring high-end retail and dining. The venue is located at St. Armands Circle in Sarasota, FL. Public admission is free with no gate fee. The show runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm, with setup on Friday. Overnight security is onsite.

Booth spaces are available in 10x10, 10x15, and 10x20 sizes. The booth fee is $425.00. Parking is available during the day for RVs and standard vehicles. All tents must be white and displays must be professional and aesthetically pleasing. American Craft Endeavors promotes the event through Comcast Cable, Sarasota Herald Tribune, Bradenton Herald, Pelican Press, Sarasota Weekly, and WLTQ.

Accepted mediums include candles, ceramics, clothing, dips/sauces, fiber, furniture, glass, hair accessories, handbags, hats, jewelry, metal art, mixed media, paintings, pet accessories, photography, plants, resin, sculpture, soaps/lotions, and wood. Artwork must be original and handcrafted by the approved artist or through collaboration between two artists. One medium only per booth is permitted. A limited quantity of offset prints, giclees, and reproduced work are allowed if clearly labeled as such. The artist or craftsperson must be present throughout the event. Subletting or sharing of space is prohibited, as is the use of kits, imported goods, or mass-produced items.

To apply, submit 3 images of work, 1 image of a 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, a biography or website, and a $20 non-refundable jury fee. Applications are juried in order of date received. Allow 2 to 4 weeks for application processing. Upon invitation, a $50 deposit may be made if the event is more than 30 days away, with the full balance due no later than 30 days prior to the event. A $30 late fee applies if payment is not received by the deadline. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 30 days prior to the show to receive a show credit. Exhibitors selling food or skin care products must have product liability insurance naming Howard Alan Events, Inc. and American Craft Endeavors as co-insured.
