SpringFling26 - Juried Art Competition

The Mountain Artists Guild invites artists to participate in "Spring Fling," a juried exhibition celebrating the energy of spring—renewal, color, movement, and fresh beginnings. The exhibition welcomes artwork in all media that reflects the spirit of spring, whether literal or abstract, bold or subtle, joyful or reflective. Artists may interpret the theme broadly or explore concepts such as renewal and rebirth, bloom and flourish, light and color, movement and energy, nature awakening, transformation, joy and playfulness, or hope and possibility.

This exhibition is open to all artists in all mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, and mixed media. All submissions must be original works of art and align with the theme. Artwork will be displayed both in-gallery and digitally. The online application deadline is March 1, 2026 at 9 PM. Gallery intake is March 9, 2026, and the show runs March 11 through April 25, 2026. Artwork must be delivered in person; no shipping is permitted. An awards ceremony and reception will be held March 27, 2026 from 5 PM to 7:30 PM.

Entry fees are $30 for members' first three submissions and $10 for additional submissions; non-members pay $45 for the first three submissions and $12 for additional submissions. Up to five submissions per artist are permitted. Members must volunteer a minimum of eight hours during the exhibition period or pay a $40 buyout fee. All artwork must be priced for sale, with the Guild taking a 25% commission from members and 40% from non-members.
