Spring to Life - 2023

Spring to Life 2023 is a juried visual art exhibition exploring the color and complexity of flora and fauna. Works featuring both traditional and abstract interpretations of life and nature are eligible. The exhibition will be held at 311 Gallery, located at 311 W Martin St, Raleigh, NC, from June 2-30, 2023, with an opening reception on June 2nd from 6-9pm.

This exhibition accepts visual works of art only, both 2D and 3D. Audio and video submissions are not accepted. Works must be for sale and should not exceed 72 inches in any dimension unless permitted otherwise by staff via email. All mediums are considered, including painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and sculpture. Works will be accepted on a piece-by-piece basis due to space limitations. The exhibition is open to all artists in the United States.

Entry fee is $25 for the first work and $5 per additional work, with a maximum of $45 for up to 5 total works. All entry fees are non-refundable. If work is accepted and sells, the commission rate is 60% artist and 40% gallery, with payment mailed approximately 30 days after the date of sale. Artists will be notified of acceptance status approximately 3-5 days after the deadline. Expected drop-off/mail-in dates are May 25-27, 12-4pm. Expected pickup dates are July 1st, 12-6pm, and July 2nd, 2-6pm. A cash prize will be awarded for Best in Show.
