Spring to Life 2022

Spring to Life 2022 is a juried visual art exhibition seeking to explore the color and complexity of flora and fauna. Works featuring both traditional and abstract interpretations of life are eligible. This physical exhibition will be held at 311 Gallery, located at 311 W Martin St, Raleigh, NC during May 2022. All United States artists are eligible.

The exhibition accepts both 2D and 3D works in all mediums including painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and sculpture. Works must be for sale and should not exceed 72 inches in any dimension. Audio and video submissions are not accepted. Artists may submit up to 4 entries; the first two works are $25, with each additional piece costing $5 extra, up to a maximum of 5 works for $40. A $5 media fee applies. Works will be accepted on a piece-by-piece basis due to space limitations. Juried with JPEGs, one per work (multiple views of 3D work may be included in one image). Artists will be notified of acceptance status approximately 3-5 days after the call ends.

Cash prizes are awarded: Best in Show $300, $200, and $100. The gallery retains a 40% commission on all work sold during the exhibit, with commission checks mailed approximately 30 days after sale. If accepted, artwork must be shipped or hand delivered to the gallery by April 30, 2022 at 4pm. 2D artworks must hang by wire or other acceptable means; 3D works must be able to stand with no or minimal assistance or come with necessary display items.
