Spring to Life

Spring to Life is a juried all-media exhibition seeking to explore the color and complexity of flora and fauna. The exhibition welcomes traditional interpretations as well as New Contemporary works that push boundaries. This is a physical visual art exhibit located at 311 Gallery, 311 W Martin St., Raleigh, North Carolina, open to all United States artists.

The exhibition is for art whose primary subject is flora or fauna, in both 2D and 3D formats. Works must be for sale and should not exceed 60 inches in any dimension. All mediums are considered, including painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and sculpture. Audio and visual submissions are not accepted. Works will be accepted on a piece-by-piece basis due to space limitations. The exhibition runs May 7-28, 2021, with an opening reception on May 7, 2021.

Entry deadline is 11:59 pm CST March 31, 2021. Entry fee is $25 for two works and $5 for each additional work. Submit 2-3 JPEG images per work (one per work for 2D; two for 3D showing full shot and detail). Images should be at least 1000px at their widest dimension, up to 2000px, and not exceed 4MB. Accepted artists will be notified by email and must ship or hand-deliver work by April 30, 2021. Expected drop-off/mail-in dates are April 22-23, April 29-30, and May 1. 311 Gallery retains a 40% commission on all work sold; commission checks are mailed approximately 30 days after sale. The gallery has blanket insurance for works on premises but is not liable for damages during transportation. Artists are encouraged to insure artwork to and from the gallery.
