About This Call

Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites all MFA Members residing in any of the states or territories of the US, Canada, and Mexico to enter the Spring Member Show 2026. Any original 2D or 3D work will be considered. Works selected by juror Katie Lee will be exhibited in MFA's Circle Gallery from April 29 – May 23, 2026. Katie Lee is a curator and cultural worker at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where she serves as Penn Medicine Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art. She has organized exhibitions including Jesse Krimes: Rikers Quilt and Gary Simmons: Desert Blizzard, and previously worked at Transformer in Washington, DC, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, MoMA PS1, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Barnes Foundation.

A maximum of 6 original works created within the past 3 years may be entered. Work must be for sale and may be set to Price on Request (POR). Maximum size, including edges or frame, cannot exceed 72" in any direction. All entries must be uploaded through artcall.org with a file size no more than 10 MB. For video submissions, provide a link in the Linked Web Resource field and upload a still frame; accepted video submissions must be delivered on a thumb drive. Entry fees are $30 for 1-2 entries, with up to 4 additional entries at $4.50 each. Fees are non-refundable. Work previously exhibited at MFA Circle Gallery is not eligible for re-entry.

Accepted work must arrive at MFA Circle Gallery April 22-26 from 11 AM – 4 PM. A virtual awards ceremony will be held May 3 from 4-5 PM via Zoom. The closing reception is May 23 from 4-6 PM. Hand-delivered work may be picked up May 24-25 from 11 AM – 4 PM, and shipped work will be sent May 28. Artists will retain 70% from sales (75% for MFA Members), with MFA retaining 30% commission (25% for MFA Members).
