About This Call
For 50 years, the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association, a non-profit arts council, has provided a unique art experience through the Arts in the Park festival series in the Downtown City Park of Blue Ridge, GA. Located at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the festival draws in excess of 20,000 attendees annually and features over 170+ artists, exhibitors, and vendor booths. Visitors enjoy a variety of fine arts and fine crafts, demonstrations, food, and much more during the two-day event on May 23-24, 2026, from 10am-5pm. Blue Ridge is listed as one of the top five Art Towns in Georgia by the Georgia Council of the Arts and recognized in the last five consecutive years as one of the top ten fine craft towns in America by American Craft Week.
This is a juried fine arts and handmade crafts festival accepting 15 media categories including 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Clay, Edibles, Fiber/Leather, Furniture, Garden Art, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Wood/Woodworking, and Other. All work must be original, handcrafted, created, and exhibited by the approved artist themselves. Applications require 5 photos (3 of work, 1 studio/creating shot, 1 booth photo) and an artist statement/biography. Original art must occupy no less than 50% of booth space, and no buy/sell or commercially mass produced items are allowed.
Application fee is $35 (non-refundable), with artist single booths at $250 and double booths at $325. Current BRMAA members receive a $35 discount. Festival amenities include exhibitor hospitality booth with snacks and refreshments, Friday load-in, booth sitters upon request, on-site security, and city vendor permits. Applications are due February 28, 2026 at midnight EST, with notification on March 27, 2026. Accepted exhibitors must respond by April 25, 2026, and load-in is Friday, May 22, 2026.
