Spot On #6

D'art Gallery, a contemporary gallery in the Art District on Santa Fe Drive in Denver, invites artists to enter the "Spot On #6" Show, juried by Susan Froyd, a freelance arts journalist for Westword since 1992. The gallery is looking for creative approaches to your medium—stretching your process and identifying your artistic sweet spot. Show your best work in any medium except video and performance art.

Cash prizes will be awarded: Best of Show ($300) and three Honorable Mentions ($100 each), announced at the Opening Reception. The entry fee is $40 for up to 4 pieces. Submit 1-4 images by June 17, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Judging will occur June 18-22, 2025, with results emailed the week of June 23. Accepted work will be exhibited July 31 - August 24, 2025.

Artwork must be original, completed, and ready to hang or display. Maximum dimensions are 8 feet tall by 5 feet wide including frame, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds. All work must be framed or gallery wrapped with professional-quality materials. Complex installations or fragile artwork must be installed by the artist or their representative. Accepted artists will receive shipping instructions. Shipped work must arrive by July 26; hand delivery is available July 26-27, 2025. All artwork is due by July 27 at 4:00 p.m. Artwork sold incurs a 30% commission. Pick-up is August 24 between 4:00-6:00 p.m., or shipped work will be packaged and shipped August 25. All residents of the USA are eligible to enter.
