Spot On #3

D'art Gallery, a contemporary gallery in the Art District on Santa Fe Drive in Denver, invites artists to enter the "Spot On #3" exhibition, juried by Doug Kacena. The gallery is looking for creative presentations of work that stretch artistic process and approach. Accepted work will be exhibited at D'art Gallery from September 1–25, 2022.

Cash prizes will be awarded: Best of Show ($300) and three Honorable Mentions ($100 each), announced at the Opening Reception. Entry fee is $40 for up to three art pieces. The deadline to enter is midnight (MST) on July 19, 2022. Results will be emailed the week of July 25, 2022. All residents of the USA are eligible to enter.

Accepted artwork must be original, completed, and ready to hang or display. Maximum size is 5 feet wide by 10 feet tall (including frame), with a maximum weight of 50 pounds. All paintings must be framed or gallery wrapped with fully painted edges; two-dimensional works on paper must be framed. No Giclee prints, audio-video performance artworks, or sawtooth hangers are accepted. Complex installations must be installed by the creating artist or their representative. Accepted artists will receive shipping instructions; shipping and return shipping costs and insurance are the artist's responsibility. Shipped work is accepted until August 27, 2022. Artists may hand-deliver work on August 27–28, 2022 during regular gallery hours or by special arrangement. All artwork must be for sale and will incur a 30% commission if sold. Any artwork sold will not be removed from the gallery before the close of the exhibition unless prior arrangements are made.
