Spot On #2

D'art Gallery, a contemporary gallery in the Art District on Santa Fe Drive in Denver, invites submissions for "Spot On #2," juried by Dr. Gwen Chanzit, curator emerita of modern art at the Denver Art Museum. The gallery is looking for creative approaches to your medium and invites artists to show their best work. Cash prizes will be awarded: Best of Show ($300) and three Honorable Mentions ($100 each), announced at the Opening Reception.

Submissions are limited to up to 3 images per artist, with a $35 entry fee. Artwork must be original, completed, and ready to hang or display. Maximum artwork size is 5 feet wide by 10 feet tall (including frame), with a maximum weight of 50 pounds. Shipping or packing containers are limited to 6 feet by 8 feet. All paintings must be framed or gallery wrapped with fully painted edges; two-dimensional works on paper must be framed. No audio-video performance artworks are accepted. Accepted work will be exhibited from November 18 - December 12, 2021, at D'art Gallery, 900 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO. Judging results will be emailed the week of October 4, 2021.

Accepted artists are responsible for shipping and return shipping costs and insurance. Shipped work must arrive by November 13, 2021, using reusable containers only with no packing peanuts. Hand delivery is available November 13-14, 2021, during gallery hours (Saturday noon-5 PM; Sunday 1-4 PM). All accepted artwork must be delivered by Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. Artwork sold to the public incurs a 25% commission. This is a national call; all USA residents are eligible to enter.
