Spot On

D'art Gallery, located at 900 Santa Fe Drive in Denver's Art District, invites artists to submit work for the "Spot On" exhibition, juried by Michael Paglia, Art Critic for Westword. The gallery seeks creative presentations of artistic mediums and encourages artists to stretch their process and identify their unique approach.

Four cash prizes will be awarded: Best of Show ($300) and three Honorable Mentions ($100 each). The entry fee is $35 for up to three art pieces. Accepted work will be exhibited from August 14 – September 6, 2020. Artists must submit 1-3 images in JPEG format (minimum 1920 pixels on longest side, 72 ppi, maximum 5 MB). Artwork must be original, completed, and ready to hang, with maximum dimensions of 5' wide by 10' tall including frame, and maximum weight of 50 pounds.

Shipped work must arrive by August 8 using reusable containers only (no packing peanuts). Hand delivery is available August 8-9 during gallery hours. All accepted artwork must include a pre-paid return shipping label. The gallery charges a 25% commission on sales. Artwork left unclaimed more than 30 days after the exhibition closes will be considered abandoned property of D'art Gallery. Results will be emailed the week of June 22. The artist reception and awards presentation is August 14 at 7 PM.
