Splendid Scenes

Splendid Scenes is an international open call group exhibition inviting artists to submit their most splendid, beautiful, peaceful, and lovely works of art. Any medium, style, and size are accepted, and artworks can be created in any year. This is an online-only exhibition running from Saturday, February 8th, 2025 through Thursday, March 6th, 2025.

The Hummingbird & Dragonfly Art Gallery, based in Los Angeles, is a sister gallery to KBM Art Gallery with a mission to help artists and curate exquisite shows. The gallery has over 2,000 Instagram followers, and the exhibition will be promoted on the KBM Art Gallery X (formerly Twitter) page to an audience of over 20,000 followers. All artists will have at least one artwork featured on the gallery's social media pages to promote the exhibition. These posts are permanent and remain even after the exhibition closes. If inquiries for artwork purchases are received after the show ends, they will be forwarded to the artist.

Artists retain 100% of profits from artwork sales and maintain full ownership and rights to display their work elsewhere. The gallery does not sell artwork directly but directs interested buyers to artists via email, social media, or other websites. Artists are asked to notify the gallery if their work sells elsewhere so it can be marked as sold online. This is a juried exhibition with anonymous jurors to ensure unbiased results.

Submit 1-20 JPG images of original artworks. For 2D works, crop images to show artwork only, removing excess shadows, highlights, or blurriness. For 3D works, ensure proper lighting, center composition, and white background. Do not submit artwork containing nudity, genitalia, racist or offensive themes, or erotic content. Artworks do not need to be for sale. Entry fee is $15 for the first artwork and $3 for each additional work (non-refundable). Artists must be 18 years or older and submit original works only.
