Spirited Aiken

Spirited Aiken is a juried exhibition presented by the National Association of Women Artists, SC Chapter, running June 18 – July 23, 2026 at the Aiken Center for the Arts. This exhibit is open to NAWA SC members in good standing only. Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 works of art. All mediums are accepted, though submission does not guarantee acceptance.

Artwork requirements include: finished size with a 20-pound weight limit for wall-hung pieces; unframed canvas must have painted sides with stretchers at least 1" deep; unframed oils and acrylics must be gallery wrapped with neatly finished edges; all work must be wired to gallery standards with professional presentation; and all works must be for sale with price, title, and dimensions available for the duration of the exhibit. Pedestal display sculpture is accepted; ceiling-hung work is not. Installations are accepted and must be entered by June 4 for gallery space determination. Original artwork only—no classroom, workshop, or AI-generated art. Graphic violence and lewd sexual content are prohibited; nudes are acceptable at the committee's discretion.

Submissions must include high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should show only the artwork itself, properly oriented, without matting, frames, or background. Entry deadline is April 16, 2026.
