Spirit of Wyoming 2024/25 Bottle Label Art Contest

The Spirit of Wyoming 2024/25 Bottle Label Art Contest invites artists to submit original artwork for consideration. The winning artwork will be awarded $2,500 and reproduced on the Jackson Hole Still Works Vodka bottle label for one year. Eight finalists will be selected by a jury and their works displayed at the Virtual Voting Party via Jackson Hole Still Works social media January 22-24, 2025, with the Grand Prize winner selected by public vote. The original winning artwork will be silent-auctioned starting January 24, 2025 for 2 weeks to benefit the Wyoming Arts Council. Runner-up works may be offered for sale at a 70/30 split (30% to benefit Wyoming Arts Council) at the artist's discretion for a maximum price of $2,000.

Eligibility: Artists must reside in Wyoming or Teton County, Idaho, and be over 21 years old at time of submission. Submissions must be original 2D artwork in square format with a minimum dimension of 22" X 22". Accepted mediums include watercolor, oil, pastel, pencil, acrylic, collage, and multimedia. All portfolio works must be dated 2019 or later. A digital portfolio of 7-10 representative works is required, with one clearly designated as the entry piece. The entry piece must be ready to hang (no metal frames) and the subject must visually adhere to the theme "Wyoming." Entries cannot contain trademark symbols, words, flags, military or governmental insignia.

Entry fee is $30. Application deadline is January 6, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Finalists will be notified January 8, 2025 and must deliver framed original artwork by January 21, 2025 to Jackson Hole Still Works, 3940 S. Eagle View Dr., Jackson, WY 83001 (UPS or FedEx only). The jury includes Rachel Clifton (Executive Director Wyoming Arts Council), Chas Marsh and Travis Goodman (Partners/Owners Jackson Hole Still Works), Katy Ann Fox (2015 Spirit of Wyoming winner), and Kay Stratman (2024 Spirit of Wyoming winner). Top 8 Finalists receive highlighted recognition on the Jackson Hole Still Works website and 2 bottles of vodka. The Grand Prize winner also receives a six-bottle case of vodka featuring their art and artist name, title, social tags, and website on the label.
