S=P=A=C=E … Suggesting Photographic Aspects of Creative Expression

Art League RI, a non-profit membership organization supporting artists and the arts, invites submissions for S=P=A=C=E … Suggesting Photographic Aspects of Creative Expression. This photography exhibition will be held at Art League RI Gallery from October 1–29, 2022, with a public reception and awards ceremony on the evening of Saturday, October 1, 2022. The juror is Conor Moynihan, Assistant Curator of Prints, Drawings & Photographs at the RISD Museum in Providence, RI.

Eligibility is open to any artist 18 years or older. All 2D and 3D media is eligible; artwork must be original and exhibition-ready. Maximum size is 40" wide by 60" high including frame. Digital artwork and installation pieces must include detailed technical descriptions and installation directions. Artwork previously exhibited with ALRI is not permitted. Entry fee is $30 for non-members ($25 for members) for the first piece, with each additional piece $10 (up to 3 pieces total). A $10 media fee applies. Submit 1–3 work samples (images, audio, or video). Registration deadline is Monday, August 22, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of acceptance will be sent on or before Friday, September 9, 2022.

Accepted work may be delivered in-person Thursday, September 22 & Friday, September 23, 2022 from 12:00–5:00 p.m., or Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 12:00–4:00 p.m. at 80 Fountain Street, Suite 107A, Pawtucket, RI 02860. Alternatively, shipped artwork must arrive by Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at The UPS Store #0504, 1643 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889. A $15 handling fee applies for shipped work.
