Entry fees are nonrefundable: $35.00 for one painting, $40.00 for two paintings, or $45.00 for three paintings. Only one entry per artist will be accepted into the show, though each artist may enter up to three paintings. All work must be original water media on paper or Yupo painted after January 1, 2014. Accepted water media include watercolors, acrylics, inks, gouache, casein, egg tempera, watercolor pencils, and watercolor crayons. Minimum painted image size without mat or frame is 100 square inches. Works must be matted in white or off-white, framed simply with maximum outside framed size of 46 inches in either direction, and mounted under clear unscratched Plexiglas, wired and ready to hang with backing.

Awards total more than $5,000.00 in cash and merchandise, including the Naomi Brotherton Best of Show ($1,500.00), Edgar A. Whitney award for transparent watercolor only ($1,000.00), 1st Place ($750.00), 2nd Place ($500.00), and 3rd Place ($300.00). The juror is Stan Miller, AWS, an internationally known American artist and signature member of the American Watercolor Society. The exhibition opens August 31, 2016, at the Eisemann Center with an awards reception on September 18, 2016, and closes September 24, 2016. The Eisemann Center receives a 15% commission on paintings sold.
