About This Call
Amdur Productions presents the Southport Art Fest, held in one of Chicago's most dynamic northside neighborhoods on Southport Avenue. This established urban art festival features 100 exhibitor spaces with extended hours for increased sales opportunities. All media are welcome, and artists keep 100% of their sales income. The dedicated Amdur Productions team provides full support from load-in to load-out, including booth sitting and rental services.
Exhibit spaces are 12' wide by 10' deep for $550 plus a $25 city permit fee, or 20' wide by 10' deep for $1,050 plus permit fee. Artists must use white tents and keep tables skirted to the ground. Load-in occurs Friday evening and Saturday morning with drive-up access to spaces. Equipment rentals including tents, weights, tables and chairs are available for additional fees. The festival provides overnight security and comprehensive marketing support including digital advertisements, radio, posters, street banners, social media, and direct mail.
Applications require 5 images, a booth shot, and a $550 application fee. All artwork must be original, created by the accepted artist, and made in the country where the artist resides. Artists must be present during all festival hours. The jury process averages 175 applications with 100 artists selected plus 20 exempt artists. Applications are due January 16, 2026, with notifications February 16, 2026.
