South Street Art Festival 2027

South Street Art Festival is a three-day outdoor art festival held in Downtown Arlington, Texas on April 9-11, 2027. The festival takes place on South Street stretching 3 blocks between Elm and Jefferies streets. Created in 2013, it is Downtown Arlington's longest running and only fine art festival. The festival features booth after booth of quality art from local, regional and national artists, along with live entertainment from local and regional bands performing all weekend.

Artists must submit 4 images (three of work and one booth display) with a $25 non-refundable application fee. Application deadline is December 31, 2026 at midnight CST. Accepted artists will be notified January 8, 2027, with payment due January 22, 2027. Booth fees are $325 for 10x10 or $650 for 10x20, with an optional $100 corner booth add-on (limited availability). Artist show hours are Friday 3pm-8pm, Saturday 11am-7pm, and Sunday 11am-5pm. Load-in is April 9, 8am-2pm. Artists retain all revenue from sales and are responsible for collecting and paying sales tax (Arlington rate is 8.25%).

All work must be original, hand-crafted work produced by the participating artist with no commercial kits, molds, or prefabricated forms. Artists must be present with their work for the entire festival. Eligible categories include Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing, Emerging Artist, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metalworks, Mixed Media 2D/3D, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Wood. The Emerging Artist category is for artists with little to no experience exhibiting and selling artwork who have not participated in more than three juried art festivals within 6 months; qualifying emerging artists pay a reduced booth fee of $150. All artists must be 18 years or older. Free artist parking is available east of the festival footprint, and 24-hour on-site security is provided by the Arlington Police Department.
