South Carolina Watermedia Society Spring Digital Show

The South Carolina Watermedia Society Spring Digital Show is open to current members and exclusively showcases watermedia works created after January 1, 2020. Members can submit one piece for a $25 entry fee, with the option to enter an additional piece for $10. Submissions must be original work by the entering artist. All water-soluble media are acceptable except water-soluble oils. Where collage is used, it should comprise less than 50 percent of the image. Work painted from published sources or completed under instruction in a class or workshop is not acceptable.

The 2022 juror is Kie Johnson, a signature member of The Georgia Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, South Carolina Watercolor Society, and Southern Watercolor Society. Johnson is a retired art educator with 30 years of teaching experience and maintains a full-time art studio in Athens, Georgia.

Award winners will be notified via email. The top three paintings will receive awards. All entries will be displayed digitally on the website for one year. Eligibility is limited to members with current dues (January 1 through December 31). Membership is open to adults 18 or older.
