source photographic review – call for new work

Source is organizing Zoom meetings with photographers to review new photographic work. Each meeting provides an opportunity to introduce new work directly to one of the editors. This is one way Source finds new work for publication in the Portfolio section of the magazine.

This call is open to photographers from or living in the UK and Ireland. Submissions should consist of new, previously unpublished bodies of photographic work. Unpublished work can include artists' books in editions of less than 200, or projects from which a few images have been published elsewhere.

To apply, email [email protected] with the subject heading 'Research Meetings 2026' and include: a PDF or PowerPoint file no larger than 40MB containing up to 15 images; up to three paragraphs of text providing background to your new work; your name, contact phone number, and web address; and specification of whether you are from Northern Ireland or elsewhere in Ireland or the UK, and/or where you are currently based. There is no application fee or participation fee.
