Soos Creek Fine Art and Craft Festival

Arts Alliance North West presents the Soos Creek Fine Arts and Crafts Festival, a one-day juried fine art competition and sale held at Soos Creek Botanical Gardens in Auburn, Washington. The festival features juried booth artisans, live music, and food. Soos Creek Botanical Gardens is a non-profit garden open to the public without admission fees.

The competition includes three fine art categories for two-dimensional original visual art created in the past three years (no photography or digital art): Fine Art (open to all artists 18+), Plein Air (depicting a scene from Soos Creek Botanical Garden, created in 2024, open to all artists 18+), and Student Art (open to artists 18-23 enrolled in a Washington state accredited learning environment for 2023/24). Entry fee is $25.00 for one or two submissions. Prize awards include Best in Show ($500), and in each category: First place $300, Second place $150, Third place $50.

All artwork must be original, for sale, and properly wired for hanging with labels showing artist name, title, and price. Acceptable image formats are JPEG or JPG, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side and under 8 MB. Arts Alliance North West takes a 20% commission on fine art sales, with proceeds sent to artists within 30 days. Entry fees are non-refundable. Applicants must be domiciled in Washington State. Applications accepted online only through CaFE.
