Something for Everyone

Something for Everyone is a hybrid call for art featuring a month-long exhibition in December 2020 and a series of pop-up holiday markets the same month. Artists may apply for the exhibition and/or the pop-up market.

EXHIBITION: This exhibition is for small, affordable works that must be for sale and not exceed 24 inches in any dimension or $250 in price. Works of all mediums are considered and will be accepted on a piece-by-piece basis due to space limitations. The exhibition will be held at 311 Gallery in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Work must be shipped or hand-delivered to the gallery. Up to 4 entries per artist are accepted. If accepted, 2D artworks must hang by wire; 3D works must stand with no or minimal assistance or come with necessary display items. The commission rate is 60% artist, 40% gallery. Artists will be notified of delivery dates by November 10th. Works must be received by the gallery no later than November 28, 2020 at 4pm.

MARKET: Holiday markets are scheduled for December 4th (6-9pm), December 5th (12-4pm), December 12th (12-4pm), and December 19th (12-4pm) at 311 Gallery. Vendors must use their own payment systems and retain 100% commission of sales (or the gallery will take 40% commission if handling purchases). Vendors are responsible for setting up their own spot including display items and tablecloth. The gallery provides one 2x4 ft. table and lunch. Spaces are limited.

Eligibility is open to all North Carolina artists and vendors. Entry fee is $30 (non-refundable). Entries must be received by 11:59 pm on November 8, 2020. Submit 1-4 JPEG images (at least 1000px at widest dimension, not exceeding 4MB per image). For 2D work, submit one JPEG per entry. For 3D work, submit up to three JPEGs per entry. Market vendors should submit 4 sample images of items they expect to sell. Hand delivery dates are November 26-28, 2020.
