Solo Show in d'Art Center's Vault (during the ICON Exhibition)

This is a solo show opportunity in The Vault, a 132 square foot exhibition space housed in a historic bank vault at d'Art Center's location in Norfolk's NEON Arts District. The exhibition runs from Saturday, November 13, 2021 through Sunday, December 12, 2021.

The Vault is open to functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in all mediums. The space can accommodate between 12-15 pieces depending on sizes. Work exhibited in The Vault does not need to relate to work in The Main Gallery. This opportunity is open to all artists 18 or older residing in the United States. All work must be original, created without the aid of an instructor or kit, and produced within the last five years. All styles and aesthetics are considered, though content should be appropriate for all viewers.

Entry fee is $55.00 for up to 20 image submissions. The application deadline is October 17, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notifications will be sent by email by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021. Accepted works must arrive by November 5, 2021. This is a juried opportunity judged by the d'Art Center gallery director and staff. Works can be hand-delivered by pre-arrangement or shipped; works cannot exceed 40 pounds or 60 inches in longest dimension. All work must be hang/presentation ready. Commission on sales is 60% artist and 40% d'Art Center. Exhibiting artists may optionally host an opening reception with catered packages available at $250, $500, or $750.
