Solo Show in d'Art Center's Vault

This is a solo show opportunity in The Vault, a 132 square foot exhibition space housed in a historical bank vault at d'Art Center's location in Norfolk's NEON District. The opportunity is open to functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in all mediums. Work submitted for The Vault can relate to the concurrent National Juried Exhibition "Nature Homage" in the Main Gallery, however it is not required. The Vault can accommodate between 12-15 pieces depending on sizes.

Exhibition dates are Saturday, August 28th through Sunday, September 19th, 2021. The submission deadline is August 1st, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $55.00 for up to 20 works (one image per submission). Artists will be notified by email by 5pm on Monday, August 2nd, 2021. Accepted works must arrive by 5pm on Friday, August 20th, 2021. This is a juried opportunity judged by the d'Art Center gallery director and staff. Commission on sales is 60% artist and 40% d'Art Center.

Work must be hang/presentation ready. Shipped works cannot exceed 40 pounds or 60 inches in longest dimension. All 3D works requiring presentation other than standard pedestals must include those items. Works requiring special installation must include clear instructions; complicated specialized installation must be completed by the artist. The gallery staff will handle artwork with care, but d'Art Center is not responsible for damage during exhibition or shipping. Artists are strongly recommended to insure their work and purchase shipping insurance. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the gallery. Works must include pre-paid return labels through UPS or FedEx only. Works not picked up within one month of exhibition end become property of d'Art Center.
