Solo Show Competition

This competition offers 2 artists the opportunity to each present a solo exhibition in their own dedicated space at the Old Courthouse Arts Center galleries during September 2021. The competition is open to all artists in the US, and all mediums and styles of artwork are accepted.

The 2 selected artists will each receive a solo room in the gallery for September, the option to have a private reception in addition to the main reception for all galleries, and a video created about their solo exhibition and artwork. The Old Courthouse Arts Center is a 5,000 sq ft gallery located on Woodstock's historic square, northwest of Chicago. The center is marking its 31st anniversary in 2021. J + K Isacson are curators for this exhibition, working in partnership with the Old Courthouse Arts Center and the Northwest Area Arts Council. Entry fee is $48. Submission deadline is August 8, with notifications to be made by August 12. Submissions should include up to 10 images of work and installation views/plans.
