Solo Show 2026

Blue Line Arts in Roseville, CA invites artists to submit proposals for a solo exhibition in their Westpark Gallery space. This opportunity is ideal for early-career or established artists seeking to showcase a medium-sized body of work. Artists who can demonstrate a range of work sizes and price points are encouraged to apply, as this enhances accessibility and engagement for a broader collector and viewer base. The Westpark gallery space is best suited to medium-to-small artworks, such as paintings, drawings, prints, or sculptures smaller than 24". While applications from artists working in all mediums are welcome, large sculptural works or installation pieces may be more challenging to accommodate.

The selection process prioritizes cohesion (a clear, cohesive theme or artistic narrative across the body of work) and range (demonstration of versatility in artwork size and price to appeal to diverse audiences and collectors). The show will be on display from May 9th to June 20th, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday May 9th from 5pm-7pm and closing reception on Saturday June 20th from 5pm-7pm. Results will be sent by 5pm PST on April 3rd, 2026.

The entry fee is $25 for up to 10 images, though Blue Line Artist Level members may apply for free. Artists must submit 3-10 images of proposed works, an artist statement (1000 characters max), a solo show proposal narrative (2000 characters max), and an artist CV. All artwork must be original, completed within the last two years, ready to hang (for 2-D works), and for sale. Blue Line Arts handles all sales transactions with non-member artists receiving 50% commission and members receiving 60% commission.
