Solo & Group Exhibitions | Downtown Austin

Dab Art Co. is accepting proposals for solo and group exhibitions, both online and in gallery at Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin. A comprehensive submission should include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Exhibition considerations are reviewed weekly.

Online exhibitions vary from 3 to 6 months, with a minimum of one solo exhibition selected per month. Gallery exhibition lengths may vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions. Artists selected for exhibition will also be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for exhibitions, ongoing professional consultation and portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance in selected publications, online market inventory and website profile.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images; additional images cost $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100, limited to 1 hour maximum via Zoom. Notifications are sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own sole copyright. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats and wiring. Gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Sales remittances are paid within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from buyer.
