Solo & Group Exhibition Consideration | Downtown Austin

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for solo and group exhibitions both online and in gallery. Online exhibitions vary from 3 to 6 months, with a minimum of one solo exhibition selected per month. Gallery exhibition lengths may vary from 6 to 8 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions.

Submissions must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 20 images. The entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with an additional $5 per image up to 20 total. An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100. The consultation includes discussion of your submission, website, social media accounts, biography, and artist statement, with feedback designed to improve your online presence and increase exhibition invitations. Consultations are conducted via Zoom, limited to 1 hour maximum, and artists receive a recorded copy. Artists have 90 days to schedule their consultation, and the fee is non-refundable regardless of invitation status.

Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance, and online market inventory. All mediums and genres are considered. Notifications are generally sent within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate exhibition placement or "Wait List" status, with waitlisted artists featured in at least one exhibition within the calendar year. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. All work must be original, unsold, with the artist owning sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping with prepaid return labels.
