Solo Exhibition Opportunity in The d'Art Center Vault During Multifarious

The d'Art Center is seeking one artist for a solo exhibition in The Vault, a 132 square foot exhibition space housed in a historical bank vault within the d'Art Center in Norfolk's NEON Arts District. The Vault is adjacent to the Main Gallery and can accommodate 12-15 pieces depending on work sizes. All styles and aesthetics are considered, including functional and non-functional work in 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in all mediums.

This solo show opportunity occurs during Multifarious, a national juried exhibition of original abstract, non-figurative, non-objective, and/or non-representational artwork in 2D and 3D formats. Proposed solo shows do not have to fit the Multifarious theme, though artists are welcome to propose work aligned with it. The Vault artist is selected through an open call and jury process that includes d'Art Center staff, professional artists, and gallery manager Amanda Bradley.

The exhibition runs August 6 - September 3, 2022, with a Main Gallery Reception on Friday, August 12, 2022, 5:30-7:30pm. Entry deadline is July 10, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The submission fee is $45.00 for up to 20 works. Work must not exceed 50 pounds or 60 inches in its longest dimension and must be hang/presentation ready. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must provide pre-paid return labels via UPS or FedEx. The d'Art Center retains a 40% commission on sales.
