About This Call
The Snowy Range Art Festival is a two-day event showcasing the handmade works of 200 fine artists and fine crafters. The 2025 event marks the centennial celebration of this renowned festival, which ranks as one of the top five festivals for artists and art lovers according to Sunburst Artist. The festival takes place outdoors from November 26-28, 2025, with judging on Friday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., public shows on Friday 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., concluding with artist awards and festival celebration Sunday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Artists may submit up to three applications across 16 categories including Ceramics, Fiber, Jewelry, Painting, Printmaking, Digital Media, Folk/Traditional Arts, Metalwork, Papermaking/Book Arts, Sculpture, Leather, Drawing, Glass, Mixed Media, Photography, and Woodwork. The festival is juried by world-renowned members of FAJA (Fine Art Jurying Association) with jury dates August 4-15, 2025, and notification on August 19, 2025. All work must be original and handcrafted, with artists required to be present all three days.
Booth options include Single Booth ($375 for 10'x10'), Double Booth ($625 for 20'x20'), and Contributor Extension ($55 for 10'x3'). Awards include the Snowy Range Sculpture Award ($5,000), Isaac Icicle Award ($4,000), Quandary Peak Fellowship for emerging artists ($19,000), and five Snowy Range Best in Show awards ($1,000 each). The festival maintains a 25-person waitlist and has an 8.879% sales tax rate.
