About This Call
The SMASH Spring Fine Arts Festival is a highly selective, upper echelon outdoor fine-art exhibit showcasing top-tier in and out-of-state artists. Hosted in the premier Fillmore Plaza at the center of the Cherry Creek North District (Fillmore St. between 1st & 2nd Ave.), the festival takes place amidst affluent luxury condominiums, shops, and restaurants. This is the 7th straight year in the Cherry Creek North District, featuring live violin/piano music both days and fine catering.
The festival runs Saturday June 14th and Sunday June 15th from 10am-5pm, with set-up on Friday June 13th starting at 12pm and tear-down on Sunday at 5pm. Artists must use white canopy tents with weights on each corner, maintain professional booth setups, and be present for the entire show. All work exhibited must be original art produced by the artists, and liability insurance is required.
Booth spaces are available as 10' x 10' for $575 or 10' x 20' for $1,050, with corner add-on ($115) and electricity add-on ($35) options. The application fee is free and emerging artists are accepted. A Denver Special Event Sales Tax License is required, with total sales tax of 8.81%. Refund policy allows 100% refund prior to March 31st, 50% prior to April 7th, and no refunds after April 7th.
