Small Works - Robert Anderson Gallery/Month of Photography Juried Show & Competition

This juried photography competition invites all photographers 18 years of age and older to submit work for the Small Works exhibition at Robert Anderson Gallery in Denver. Any photographic medium is accepted, including digital and alternative processes, as well as mixed media if photography is a key component. The maximum dimension of framed or ready-to-hang work cannot exceed 14 inches, and free-standing work is not accepted.

Submit 2 to 5 images via the CaFE system (www.callforentry.org). Entry fee is $30.00 for two images, with additional images at $10.00 each up to a total of 5 images. Images must be JPEG or JPG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side at 72 dpi, and 5 MB or less. Approximately 50 images will be selected for the seven-week exhibition running March 8 through April 27, 2019. All accepted works must be for sale and present for the duration of the exhibition. Artists receive 60% of sales, with the gallery retaining 40%.

The jurors will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, with cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200 respectively. Awards will be presented at the opening reception on March 8, 2019. Award winners may be invited for a 2-month solo exhibition at the gallery. Notification of acceptance will be provided by February 3, 2019. Ready-to-hang work must arrive at the gallery between February 25 and March 5, 2019. Unsold work must be picked up between 9 am and 6 pm on April 28, 29, or 30, 2019.
