Small Works National Juried Show

The Rice Gallery of Fine Art is accepting submissions for the 10th Annual Small Works National Juried Show. This juried exhibition seeks original paintings with a painted surface no greater than 14 inches at its longest dimension (frames may exceed 14 inches). All subjects and original painting styles are welcome. No photography or reproductions are eligible.

Submit 1 to 5 images of your best original paintings via CAFÉ by January 7th, 2025. The entry fee is $35 (non-refundable). An experienced jury of fine art curators and gallery professionals will evaluate each painting individually. Juried selections will be announced by January 20th, 2025. Selected paintings must be received by the gallery by February 10th, 2025 via local delivery or shipment. The exhibition opens to the public on February 21st, 2025 and runs through March 29th, 2025.

All selected paintings are eligible for cash prizes, including a $1,500 Best of Show Prize. Selected works will be displayed for sale at The Rice Gallery of Fine Art and included in the gallery's online store. The gallery collects a 45% commission on sales. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the gallery, as well as shipping insurance. Unsold works will be returned via shipment or local pickup after the exhibition concludes.
