Small Works Exhibition at Art Works Downtown

Small Works Exhibition at Art Works Downtown is open to SF Bay Area artists who live within 100 miles from San Rafael, CA. Artworks must be smaller than 18"x18"x18" (frame included) and open to all visual art media. Original artwork only; no giclees or reproductions. Artwork must be for sale.

Entry fee is $40 for up to 3 entries, with discounts available for AWD Artist Members. Submit via callforentry.org only; hardcopy, email, and disk submissions are not accepted. Image submissions must be JPEG format, no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and 5 MB maximum file size. Sculpture entries may submit one image that includes two views per entry. The juror is JD Beltran, a conceptual artist, filmmaker, and writer whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.

Accepted artwork must be hand delivered to Art Works Downtown, 1337 Fourth Street, San Rafael, between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, November 14, 10am-4pm. Wall hung work must be securely wired. Video art must supply a monitor and player. The exhibition runs November 20, 2014–December 31, 2015, with a reception on Friday, December 11, 5-8pm. Unsold artwork may be picked up Saturday, January 2, 10am-4pm. Art Works Downtown accepts a 40% donation upon sale. Artists who do not retrieve their work will be charged a storage fee of $1.00 per day; works remaining after 30 days become property of Art Works Downtown.
