Small Wonders

This international open call exhibition invites artists to submit works of art with the only requirement being that no side can exceed 14 inches/35.5 cm (not including a frame). Any style or medium is accepted, and artworks can be created in any year. The exhibition will be live online from Friday, November 17, 2023 through Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Hummingbird & Dragonfly Art Gallery, a sister gallery to KBM Art Gallery, promotes artists through social media and curates exhibitions. The gallery has over 1.5K Instagram followers and will promote the exhibition to a social media audience of over 21K on the KBM Art Gallery X (formerly Twitter) page. All accepted artists will receive at least one dedicated social media post promoting the exhibition and gallery, with posts remaining active after the exhibition closes. If inquiries for artwork purchases are received afterward, they will be forwarded to the artist.

The gallery accepts and displays artwork at any price set by the artist. Artists retain 100% of profits from sales and retain full ownership and rights to display and promote their work elsewhere. Artists are asked to notify the gallery if artwork sells elsewhere so it can be marked as SOLD. Submission requirements include 1-20 JPG images of up to 20 different artworks. For 2D works, images should be cropped to show artwork only with excess shadows, highlights, and blurriness removed. For 3D works, images should be well-lit, centered, and against an all-white background. Artists must be 18 years or older, submit original works only, and cannot submit artwork containing nudity, racist or offensive themes, or erotic content. Entry fee is $15.00 plus a $2.00 media fee and is non-refundable.
