Small Wonders 2024

Small Wonders 2024 is an international open call exhibition hosted by the Hummingbird & Dragonfly Art Gallery. This online-only exhibition runs from Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 through Sunday, December 1st, 2024. Artists are invited to submit wonderful and wondrous works of art with the only requirement being that none of the sides can exceed 14 inches/35.5 cm (not including a frame). Any style or medium is accepted, and artworks can be created in any year.

Submissions must include at least 1 and up to 20 JPG images of different artworks. For 2D works, images should be cropped to show the artwork only, with excess shadows, highlights, or blurriness removed. For 3D works, images must be well-lit, centered, and against an all-white background. Artworks containing nudity, genitalia, racist, offensive, harassing, or erotic themes will be automatically disqualified. Artists must be 18 years of age or older, and all submitted artworks must be original works by the submitting artist.

The entry fee is $15 for the first artwork and $3 for each additional work submitted (non-refundable). Artists retain 100% of profits from any sales and maintain full ownership of their work. The gallery will promote selected works on social media (Instagram with over 2K followers and X/Twitter with over 20K followers), though artists can opt out of social media promotion. Artists are not required to display their work exclusively in this gallery and can promote and display their work elsewhere. This is a juried exhibition with anonymous jurors to maintain unbiased results.
