Small Feats of Clay 2022

The Art League of Lincoln is hosting the Small Feats of Clay Show and Competition, a ceramic art exhibition celebrating the rich history of clay competitions in West Placer County, CA. The show will be scaled-back compared to previous years in both artwork size and overall show size. The competition is open to ceramic artists worldwide and will be showcased at 580 Sixth Street, Lincoln, California from March 2 to March 26, 2022.

Artists may submit up to three original ceramic pieces that are at least 70% clay as the primary medium. Works must not exceed 20 inches in height, width, or depth and cannot weigh more than 40 pounds. All works must have been created after January 2018 and cannot have been previously shown in any former Feats of Clay exhibition. Submissions require 3-9 images per entry submitted as .jpg files at 300 dpi, with titles clearly labeled and no artist name appearing on images or file names. A maximum of 40 pieces will be selected from all entries. Entry fees are $45 for non-members ($35 for members) for the first entry, with additional entries at $15 each for non-members ($10 for members), plus a $10 media fee. The submission deadline is January 22, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Acceptance notifications will be sent by January 26-28, with selected works to be received in person on February 22-23 (no later than February 26). The juror will select awarded pieces on February 25, 2022. All accepted artwork must be available for sale during the show.
