Sky Art Peoria 2020

ArtsPartners of Central Illinois invites local artists to submit work for Sky Art Peoria, an initiative that displays selected artworks on Adams Outdoor 48' x 14' billboards throughout the region. Winning artists receive approximately $36,200 in free advertising value, with their work displayed from June 2020 through May 2021 on rotating billboard locations. Winners will also be featured at First Friday at The Studios on Sheridan gallery, in a Sky Art Peoria Gallery Exhibition in October 2020, and on the ArtsPartners website.

Eligibility requirements: You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Peoria, Tazewell, or Woodford counties. Artists of all disciplines (2D, 3D, and performance artists) may enter if they can photographically represent their work. Submissions must be individual work only; collaborations are not accepted. All art is subject to approval, and no offensive or slanderous work will be accepted. Your artwork must fit the correct 48' x 14' billboard proportions, either as an original piece or a cropped version of existing work. Submit up to 3 pieces with a $20 entry fee by May 10, 2020. Each submission requires: a brief artist statement explaining your medium, website URL, and reasons for participating; digital images in JPEG format (1920 x 500 pixels, 72 ppi, 5 MB maximum); and the $20 processing fee. Winning artists will be notified in May 2020 and honored at the Winner's Reception on June 3, 2020. Five winning artists will be announced via press release in early June. Winning artists must provide final artwork at 24.333" x 6.333" @ 300 dpi (7300 x 1900 pixels) in JPEG format, 300 dpi, CMYK color mode.
