About This Call
Skull & Bones IV is an exhibition at Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo featuring skull and bone artwork. All skull and skeletal themed work is welcome, including outsider, lowbrow, and macabre art. The gallery is located in the 40West Arts District in Lakewood, Colorado, and participates in the First Friday art walk circuit.
Submission Requirements: Artists may submit up to 2 pieces of 2D or 3D artwork. Entry fee is $25 per piece. Artwork must be ready to hang or display physically with hanging hardware already attached (plain canvas without hanging wire will not be accepted). Photographic work depicting another artist's artwork is not accepted without express permission from the original artist. All artwork must be for sale, with 40% of proceeds going to the gallery. Out-of-state artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from the gallery.
Deadline: September 12, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Drop-off date: September 27, 2025. Exhibition dates: October 3-25, 2025. First Friday Reception: October 3, 2025, 6-9 p.m. Pick-up date: October 29, 2025. Gallery address: 6451 W. Colfax Ave, Suite B, Lakewood, Colorado 80214.
