About This Call

Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo invites artists to participate in Skull & Bones III, an annual skull and/or bone themed group art show celebrating the gallery's 2nd Anniversary in October. The gallery is a lowbrow/outsider contemporary art gallery located in the 40West Arts District in Lakewood, Colorado, part of the art walk circuit.

Submissions must be 2D or 3D skull and/or bone themed artwork ready to hang or display physically. Artwork must be for sale, with 40% of sale proceeds going to the gallery. Pieces must have hanging hardware already attached (hanging wire preferred, no adhesive mounts). Photographic work depicting another artist's artwork will not be accepted without express permission from the original artist. Entry fee is $20 per piece; artists may submit up to 2 pieces. Work samples should include 1-2 images.

Deadline: September 24, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Drop-off date: October 1, 2024. Exhibition dates: October 4-26, 2024. First Friday Reception: October 4, 2024, 6-9 p.m., featuring live music, food, and flash tattoo specials. Pick-up date: October 29, 2024. Gallery location: 6451 W.
