About This Call
SkasdiCon Vol. IV marks the fourth annual celebration of Indigenous creativity and expression in pop culture, proudly hosted by the Cherokee Nation. This vibrant, all-day convention takes place on November 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 3307 Seven Clans Ave, Tahlequah, OK. The event welcomes visitors of all ages to explore and engage with the cutting edge of Indigenous art, comics, games, film, and television.
All artists must apply and be juried in annually, with Cherokee National Treasures exempt from the jury process. Artists must be citizens of a United States federally recognized Indian tribe, members of an Alaskan Native Corporation, or recognized Indigenous Peoples under Canadian law. Applications require four images of recent work made within the past two years, a booth photo, artwork descriptions, and proof of tribal enrollment. All artwork must be handmade by the registered artist in the last 18 months and be for sale.
Booth spaces are limited and assigned first-come, first-served after acceptance. Available booth sizes are 6x6 for $30 and 8x8 for $50, each including one table and two chairs. Artists will be notified of their application status by September 26, 2025, with registration and booth fees due by October 10th. All fees are nonrefundable and artists must be at their booth at all times during the event.
