Size Matters Juried Photography Competition and Gallery Exhibition

ShockBoxx, a cutting edge art gallery in Hermosa Beach, California, is seeking all formats of photography for an upcoming Gallery Exhibition and Juried Photography Competition. Theme is open to your interpretation as a photographer. Artworks will be judged based on creativity, interpretation, originality, quality of work, composition, and overall artistic ability.

Entry fee is $25 for a single entry of one image, or up to five images at $5 per additional image. Minimum 1 image required, maximum 5 images. Winners will be chosen based on the quality of single entry as well as quality of overall work. The top photography submissions will win cash prizes and award certificates, as well as featured wall space in the exhibition. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three pieces selected by jury. The competition will also be featured on ARTSY.

Jurors include Shannon Donnelly of @barbiestyle, Leah Perrino of Asymmetric Magazine, and Jessie Cederblom, an internationally published photojournalist. Competition winners will be announced early October via email. If chosen for the gallery exhibition, details will be provided via email on sending/delivering your work to the gallery for the show in late October/early November 2019.
