Sioux City Art Center's ArtSplash 2025

The Sioux City Art Center's ArtSplash Festival has been a successful and beloved community tradition for three decades. ArtSplash attracts a loyal, supportive audience of 12,000-15,000 arts enthusiasts from throughout the upper Midwest. Located in downtown Sioux City on and around the beautiful Art Center campus, ArtSplash invites you to apply to be one of up to 100 exhibitors at the 2025 event, marking the festival's 31st year. Net proceeds from ArtSplash directly support the exhibitions and educational programming of the Sioux City Art Center, western Iowa's only nationally accredited art museum.

New for 2025: ArtSplash has traditionally occurred over Labor Day Weekend. Beginning in 2025, the festival will now occur two weekends after Labor Day Weekend (September 13-14, 2025). The festival will open each day at 11 a.m., but on Saturday, the festival remains open through 9 p.m. Each booth will have access to 400 watts of electricity to allow artists to keep their artworks lit after sundown. The application fee is $15 (January 1-31), $25 (February 1 - May 1), or $45 (May 2-8). Booth space fee is $295 for 10'x10' with a limited number of double-wide booths available for $575.

Artist amenities include $7,500 in cash awards, complimentary Artists' Cocktail Hour on Friday afternoon, artists' breakfast and awards ceremony Sunday morning, booth sitters and volunteers, hospitality team, complimentary beverages and snacks delivered throughout each day, 24-hour security, and convenient parking. A special SPLASH Artist Program is available for beginning artists within a 60-mile radius of the Art Center, providing mentoring and free participation thanks to generous sponsors.
