Singing from the Heart - Members Only Juried Exhibition

This is a members-only juried exhibition for The Mountain Artists Guild open to painters and photographers. The exhibition theme is "Where Music Becomes Emotion: Art From The Heart," inviting artists to translate music into visual form—capturing the emotion, movement, and intimacy of sound. Artists are encouraged to interpret music that moves the heart across eras, styles, and cultures, painting what music feels like rather than what it looks like. Works may be figurative, abstract, or symbolic, exploring rhythm, movement, harmony, and the human voice.

The exhibition runs February 11 to April 18, 2026, at 228 N. Alarcon St., Prescott, AZ 86301. Gallery intake is February 11, 2026, and artwork must be delivered in person. The online application deadline is 5pm on February 4, 2026. Entry fees are $30 for the first 3 submissions and $10 for additional submissions (up to 5 per artist). Members must volunteer a minimum of 8 hours during the exhibition or pay a $40 buyout fee. All artwork must be original 2D paintings or photography and must be for sale. Minimum canvas or frame size is 320 square inches (16 by 20 inches); maximum is 1728 square inches (36 by 48 inches, 48" on the longest side). Paintings and photographs may be framed or unframed, provided unframed images are on gallery-wrapped canvas a minimum of 1" thick or on metal. Artwork accepted into previous 2024 Mountain Artists Guild shows is not eligible. Accepted entries will be displayed in a Web Gallery for 3 months after judging.
