Silicon Valley Open Studios & Bay Area Artist Exhibition

Silicon Valley Open Studios is a Bay Area wide studio tour and exhibition featuring artists from the region. The exhibition welcomes artists participating in Open Studios as well as those who may not have opportunities due to high event costs. The show will be both online and in the gallery, viewable by studio tour patrons during the third week of May. A reception will be held on May 19th from 5-8pm during the 3rd Friday Art Walk, with the exhibition serving as the starting point for the Art Walk. The show will also be a stop on the May 20th Gilroy Art & Wine Walk.

The exhibition runs from May 6-29, 2023, with open hours Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10am-2pm. Participating artists are encouraged to volunteer to host additional open hours. Entry fee is $25.00. Artists may submit 1-5 images of their work. Eligibility is open to artists in the Bay Area or counties surrounding Gilroy, CA.

Acceptance emails will be sent on May 3rd. Drop-off is available May 4-5 from 10am-2pm at 64 W. 6th Street or Tuesday-Thursday 9am-3pm at 7363 Monterey Hwy, Gilroy, CA, or by appointment. Pick-up is May 30 from 10am-2pm and June 1 from 10am-2pm, or by appointment. 2D works must use wire hangers, not sawtooth hangers. Artists must be available for drop-off and pick-up dates.
