Signature Member Spring Art Exhibition

This exhibition is open to all Rochester Art Club (RAC) Signature members in good standing. Artists may submit up to 4 pieces for a non-refundable entry fee of $30, which covers 1 to 4 entries.

Eligibility and artwork requirements: Entries must have been created within the last two years and may not have been shown at any previous RAC or other juried show within Monroe County. All aspects of the entry must be the artist's original work, including subject, photography, composition, drawing, and painting. Entries may not be produced in any instructional class or workshop, or under the paid mentorship of another artist. No diptych or triptych paintings, mechanical reproductions, photography, crafts, or computer-generated art are accepted. 3-D art and nudes are acceptable. All paintings must be dry, securely framed or gallery wrapped, and supported by picture wire only (sawtooth hangers are not allowed). Wire ends must be covered with tape. The four pieces submitted should have a maximum combined diagonal measurement of 100 inches, including mat and frame.

Submissions must be high-quality JPEG files at least 1600 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. All artwork must remain on exhibit until the end of the show and may not be picked up before or after the designated pickup time on Monday, August 11, 2025. Awards include: Best of Show ($150), Don Greiger Landscape Award ($100), Rochester Picture Framing Award ($100 gift card), Rochester Art Supply Award ($50 gift card), 6 Juror Awards ($50 each), and 6 Merit Awards ($25 each).
