Signature Member Spring Art Exhibition

This exhibition is open to RAC Signature members only. All entrants must be a member in good standing as of January 1, 2024. Up to 4 pieces may be submitted with a non-refundable entry fee of $30 per artist, which covers 1 to 4 entries. Entries must have been created within the last two years and may not have been shown at any previous RAC or other juried show within Monroe County. All aspects of the entry must be the artist's original work including subject, photography, composition, drawing and painting. Entries may not be produced in any instructional class or workshop, or under the paid mentorship of another artist.

Acceptable media includes paintings and 3-D art. Diptych or triptych paintings, mechanical reproductions, photography, crafts, and computer-generated art are not permitted. Nudes are acceptable. All paintings must be dry, securely framed or gallery wrapped, and supported by picture wire only. Sawtooth hangers are not allowed. Wire ends must be covered with tape to prevent injuries to the hanging committee. The four pieces submitted should have a maximum combined diagonal measurement of 80 inches, including matte and frame. All artwork must remain on exhibit until the end of the show.

Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files at least 1600 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to include only the artwork itself without visible matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile for best results. Awards include Best of Show Award, Rochester Art Supply Award, Don Grieger Landscape Award, 6 Juror Awards, and 6 Merit Awards.
