Showcase 2026

Northwind Art is seeking local and regional artists for the Showcase 2026 program, which will feature approximately 35 artists exhibiting across three separate periods in 2026 (January 26 - May 11, May 14 - September 7, and September 10 - January 4, 2027) at the Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA.

Artists will be selected by a panel of three Northwind Art curators and two local artists (Anne Schneider and Suzanne Lamon) based on the quality, professionalism, and sales potential of their work. The selection panel will evaluate a cohesive body of work and seek a variety of media, techniques, and styles. Particular attention will be paid to retail pricing, with preference for artists whose work is generally under the $1,000 price point. The program is geared toward artists living in Jefferson, Clallam, Mason, Kitsap, and Island counties, but applications from other regional artists are welcome (all artwork must be hand-delivered and picked up from the gallery).

Submit 10 images of your work through CaFE with a $25 entry fee. Works submitted can be examples of former artwork but must demonstrate the style that would be exhibited in Showcase 2026. Both 2-D and 3-D works are considered. All artwork must be original creations and should not contain AI-derived imagery. If accepted, artists will be asked to bring 4-8 pieces as initial inventory. The gallery operates on a 50/50 commission split with no monthly fees. Selected artists will be notified by November 17, 2025. Application deadline: October 19, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
