Shorewood Hub Presents Fresh 40 2024 Invitational Exhibition & Sale

Dominion Properties invites Wisconsin artists to participate in the Shorewood Hub Presents Fresh 40 2024 Invitational Exhibition & Sale. This is an invitational exhibition (no jury) featuring abstract and representational work from forty invited artists. The exhibition will be held at Shorewood Hub, 3970 North Oakland Avenue, Shorewood, WI from April 11-14, 2024.

Artists must commit to participate by February 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MT (first 40 artists to respond will be accepted). A $100 non-refundable participation fee is required at registration. Selected artists must submit 5-8 original 2-D works priced between $400-$4,000 retail. Work must be completed after January 1, 2022, measure between 10" and 36" in either direction (framed), and be in aqueous, acrylic, oil, mixed media, or photographic formats. All work must be framed, glazed, and wired for hanging. Digital submissions are due March 18, 2024, and physical delivery is April 8, 2024.

Up to twelve purchase awards will be issued. All work must be for sale at both the live exhibition and online. Sixty percent of retail sale proceeds go to artists, 30% to Shorewood SEED Foundation and Rotary Club of Milwaukee, and 10% to defer expenses. Work will be insured for retail value from delivery through pickup. Checks for sold work will be issued within 10 business days of April 19, 2024. Eligibility: participants must be 18 years or older and reside in Wisconsin.
